Magic: The Gathering Competitive Play
Read Ernst-William Hertz's Message
In Magic the Gathering there is many different formats, and in order to play competitively you need to read the meta and find out what is going on.
On this section we would like to help out newcomers looking to step up their game and start playing competitively in tournaments by sending them over to www.mtgtop8.com to read how the meta looks in their beloved format, me, Ernst-William Hertz myself is a Modern and Legacy player.
In Modern I love to play Elf although it is a lower tier deck and in Legacy I love to play Goblins and Storm.
To net-deck a deck is what a commoner such as us should do in order to play the game competitively, 2023 I got back from my 6 years break and I immediately netdecked a food-chain goblin deck and a modern elf deck that both did well in tournaments. I inserted the deck-lists into MagicCardMarket’s shopping wizard and I ordered the decks home.
You should do the same—find out what format you want to play, check MTGTop8 for decks, find something competitive that you like and order the deck home at once.
